My misery.
Lost and cold.
No answers to my call.
I wander the plains in search of solitude.
Yet I come to find I’m too far gone.
Amongst the shadows I stride.
Behind all closed doors I hide.
Avoiding the circle of social entrapment.
I’m alone inside my world of pessimistic misery.
I conceal myself, like a cancer to my own.
Hurled right into the dark, where our shadows forever hide.
I Accept the void as the homestead to my heart.
and my left-wing guide remains my pessimistic misery.
Weltschmerz has consumed my mind.
Now a better view from the horizons.
Of a repugnant expectancy of life.
I’ve chosen to cross to the other side.
Where the wounds from my past.
Shall guide me through the malisons to come.
I conceal myself, like a cancer to my own.
Hurled right into the dark, where our shadows forever hide.
I Accept the void as the homestead to my heart.
and my left-wing guide remains my pessimistic misery.
I conceal myself, like a cancer to my own.
Hurled right into the dark, where our shadows forever hide.
I Accept the void as the homestead to my heart.
and my left-wing guide remains my pessimistic misery.
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
Abigail Williams has had a weird career with hiatuses and lineup changes, but they have finally perfected their sound on Walk Beyond the Dark. This album has such a refreshing and natural feeling that makes it one of the top atmospheric black metal albums of recent years. Ryan
Finnish death metallers leaven infernal dynamics with triumphant, infectious melodies, striking a compelling balance between grit and grace. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 25, 2023
The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
